Where were you??

I can't believe that is has been 7 years since 9-11. I was thinking alot today as I do every September 11 of the terrifying day. I was at home getting ready for work when I got the phone call.... George was already at work. He called me and said that I had to turn the tv on right now. I went into the front room and every channel had the twin towers on with a plane sticking out of the side and people running everywhere, and then...... the second plane hit into the other one... my heart dropped. I was glued to the tv. I then finished getting dress and dreaded going to work, I worked at Smith's in the Service Booth that had a tv and we turned it on and everyone gathered and watched as the towers fell. All I could do was think of all the families that just lost their loved ones... I again am reminded of everything that I have and am so thankful for everything... I love my family very much and am thankful that I didn't have any family in any of or around the planes, everyone was safe.

I was in bed dreading school. Jeff called from work. I turned on the t.v. just as the second tower got hit and knew that I had to get out of the house. School would be a welcome distraction, but it wasn't. Instead of a lecture on Greece, we watched as history was made. Thank you for reminding me. I think it is good to take a moment and remember those who lost life, and loved ones, friends, and family.
