Melia and the Kids last night

I haven't wanted to post these pictures we got of the kids before they left to fly back home. Whether that is because we didn't want them to leave or I was to lazy. We miss them so much already.

We have really enjoyed being able to spend a lot of time with Jaron, Melia and the Kids. We have also been spending as much time with Chase since he is going on his mission here in the next month. We hope that Jaron, Melia and the kids get home safe. Just beware of the picture overload!

First Time

Rebel

Jeffery and Brigham loves to pet and play Rebel who has been a great horse. He just sits still and lets the boys sit and ride them all though nobody else can ride him. Here is a great picture of the boys.

Oviatt Thanksgiving

We had thanksgiving dinner at my parents house on wednesday night. As usual we all had alot of fun. Here are a couple of pictures of that night. The two with Jovi had to get posted because she always has to get out picture taken.

Bowling

Jeffery loves to go bowling and so we went one afternoon. They had the cutest balls that had holes for all 5 fingers. It was SO cute! Later that night the adults went to one of the best movies "The Blind Side". I recommend everyone should go and see it.

My best friend Carol moved this last month, so Kamille and I went out Halloween weekend and helped her pack up the old house and then went out two weeks later and helped her unpack all of the boxes that we packed and put them away in the new house. Here are a couple of pictures from the fun times we had. Carol was so tired and so we sent her up to take a nap and all of the kids and us were so noise and having so much fun running around the basement jumping on the mattress. Then baby wanted to hide in one of the boxes that we had unpacked and jumped out, he waited in the box for 15 mins waiting to scare someone. We had alot of fun and can't wait to play with them.

Happy Late birthday Chase!

This is a late post but here you go. I thought I would post a couple pictures of the kids. We had everyone over for Cake and Ice cream and as you can see the boys had to help Chase blow out of his candle. We had a lot of fun. Thanks everyone for coming.

I just had to write since I haven't written for some time. George and I are getting ready to remodel Chase's (the spare bathroom), we finally found a new shower that we could agree on. I should say that we finally both agreed to a shower instead of a bathtub. Next we have to both agree on the new flooring. We have been spending as much time as possible with Melia and the kids. They are so fun and cute. Hannah is all smile's and laughs. Brigham really loves the pups and play do. Jeffery is all about the superheros and the dogs. Melia is just a great mom and sister in law who lets us enjoy spending time with them. We are also looking forward to spending time with Jaron when he comes to visit. We are getting ready for Chase's birthday and also his mission (I have posted the details on his mission call next entry). I have also went out and helped my friend Carol get her house all packed up so that she could get moved into her new house, I like to say that I did the easy job because I didn't have to acutally move her. Other then that we are just being bums. I hope that everyone is doing well. Keep checking back as I am bound to get as many pictures as possible as we try to do as much as possible with the family this month.

Chase and his Mission call

Yes you read the tittle right. Chase has been called to serve a mission to........are you ready? The mission of Roseville, California. We are so proud of him. We know that Chase will do an amazing job and those lives that he touches will NEVER forget him. The only thing that he keeps bragging about now is that in January while we are in the freezing cold he will be in warmer weather. I recorded him reading his letter to us however for 2 days now I have tried to get it to upload.

What have the Harvey's been up to?!

The Harvey's have been up to going to Grandma's 80th birthday, going up to the mountain and taking pictures, and playing at the park and having a picnic!! These are just a few things.

Can't wait! I am so excited.

Rembering

I can't help remembering what to day really stands for. I just can't believe that it has been 8 years. I remember what where I was and what I doing as I am sure that everyone else has remembered that at some point during the day. I just wanted to say that I am so THANKFUL for all of the men and women who have and still protect us! I also wanted to let those that have lost loves ones know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and you family.

Vacation!

For our TEN year anniversary we decided to take a full week off and do NOTHING, just hang out. That did NOT happen, we completely took apart the computer room and painted the walls and then pulled the carpet up so that we could replace it with new floors (as if I wasn't getting my workout during the morning, I couldn't really move when we were done) Then we fixed the bath tubs that were leaking; But the most exciting part of our vacation was going to the Blink 182 concert, We have been to four of the their concerts and loved every minute of them I think that this was one of the best ones just because they did all of their best songs. I can't wait to hear their new cd (when it comes out).

Where has the time gone?

I just can't believe how fast the time flies when your having fun!!! Today is George and I's TEN year anniversary. Kamille and I were talking about how it seems like George and I just got married and then Kamille says you know this also means that you have been graduated from high school for ten years as well. Thanks sis you know how to make someone feel old!

I know that George and I have had many challenges along our journey but I would change anything for what we have. I want to say thanks babe for always being there for me, for helping me discover who I am as a person and still love me. You really are my best friend and I can't wait to see what the next ten years brings us.

I just can't wait!

Almost Over!

The time is almost here to say bye again to Jadalynn and Her mom. They have been visiting with us for about 3 month's now and the time has come for them to go back to Texas so that Jen may start her new Wal Mart job and Jada start her first grade class. ( She is growing up way to fast.) We have had many adventure's this summer from playing at the lake and throwing rocks on Grandpa's head (by accident, again I wish that George and I could have gone to bad we had to work). to the three hour water fight to driving out to Orem and doing a little shopping to just hanging out and having a picnic and watching movies. We are really excited to see you next year and hope that we can build alot more memories.

Family reunion and the THREE hour water fight!

Almost every year we have a family reunion at my grandma Oviatt's house we play games and talk and hang out, and then we usually get into a water fight. This year it got started and we ended up playing for about THREE hours needless to say I was a little wet.

What have the Harvey's been up to......

We have a very busy last couple of weeks. We have enjoyed that Jennifer and her entire family have been up here visiting we will surely miss them when they go back home.. We have had family picture taken (which haven't been done since i was 13 years old) We had 12 out of 13 in the picture, We missed you Jovi. We have also went to the local rec center that has a fun pool that the kids LOVED and didn't want to leave. We have watch Jacob play softball. We have also bought a new car and LOVE it. Kamille and I went to Lagoon with Carol and her kids and had a blast (even tho Carol and Hailey are really the only ones that rode most of the rides. We were able to go to the traveling wall that came through town. We went and watched the fly over of the F-16 in the fourth of July parade. We went the rodeo. I think that this about sums it up. What's been happening at the Harvey's

We have had some great and fun exciting things happening around our house. Okay not George and I. We still just work and then come home and get up the next day and start over. However we my little sister rolled her car on Saturday and she walked away with 4 scratches and some bruises, the car on the other hand didn't survive. We also had some birthday's this month and we hope that mom and Jaron had a great day on their birthday!

These are picture's from Kamille's accident her phone didn't make it. She said she had a EMT in training right behind her that stopped and then the tow truck in front that called 911. The cuts on her hand are the only scratches she received she didn't even need stitches. I am so glad she had someone watching over her.

Jaron celebrated his birthday on June 17th. We hope he had a great day!

What has been happening in Vernal

Here a couple of weeks ago we had a huge fire on Main Street. I work next to the Uintah Fire District office and the Secretary came and got our camera to take these photos and so I thought I would share them.

For those of you that may not have seen the next best movie comming out this year. (okay so just one of the best one). I am very excited to see it.

Marie's baby shower

This is my friend Marie who is expecting her 3rd child. This was at the wonderful baby shower that her cousin through. She is going to kill me for putting them on the blog, but I can't help but show off how beautiful she is and her prego belly. ( just don't pay attention to me, I look bad after just driving 2 hours and working all day)

Hannah Ruby

Here is a picture of the newest addition to the family, Hannah Ruby. Again congrats Jaron, Melia, Jeffery and Brigham.

Grandma Allred

The head stone for Grandma Allred has come and so I thought I would post some pictures for Jaron and Melia. I know how much she meant to all of us and we remember her this weekend and we have little Hannah Ruby joining the family. I know that grandma gave her alot of hugs and kisses.

Where did all this water come from?........

I went out to turn on the hose and found that our pipe had some water coming out of it (the black pipe) so I went and put the water on my flowers and went in to tell George so he came out and took a look next thing you know (about half hour) this is how much water we had.....

So George go on the phone to call the property manager, this city and plumber just anybody that could turn of the water so that we could fix it.

Our wonderful neighbor's had a little tool that we could use to turn off the water, he also got a hold of his brother to come and get it taken care of. However the wonderful husband and brother in law that I have had already started to get to work so that they could find out where the water was coming from.

Here are a couple of funny picture's of them turning the water off.

Needless to say I was lucky that I had filled my pot of water up for the potatoes and had cooked everything else. We were out of water the rest of the night, but the property manager was really great and felt bad that we had already started to fix the problem (George explained that they grew up with a do it yourself dad and learned from him) We now have water and don't have to use the bottled water to brush our teeth or wash our hands.

What have the Harvey's been up to

Here are a few of the projects that we are working on right now. We have decided to put some new skirting around the house. (we are only half way of the half way mark on the back, George forgot to order some spike's or something) and I planted flowere in the front yard. ( Now let's just hope that they grown)

I know that this isn't much of an update in the sense of it is going to be short! I just can't contain the excitement....... I thought I would share that I am a new aunt. Jaron and Melia had a baby girl. Her name is Hannah Ruby. I am so happy for them. As soon as we get pictures I will post them.

i can't believe....

I can't believe that Brigham is 2. My how they grow up so fast. I have really missed the hugs and kisses and his wonderful smile that just melts everything away. I hope that he had a great birthday. We love you lots!

Happy Mother's Day

Here are some of the great women that gave my inspiration and love in my life. I don't know what I would do without them. They have gave me inspiration from being a single mom to taking the mother's place due the loss of their mom to always listening to me when I needed it, but most of all they ALL have given me love when I have needed it and didn't even know. I would like to send a special thank you to all of you. I love you all so much and hope that you have a great day!

World's best husband

I have the world's best husband. I was having a bad day on Monday and my husband decided to cheer me up and send me some flowers. Now for those of you that know me know that I am could care less to get flowers because they just die after a few days. However these are just beautiful and I really appreciate them. I really want to plant some Lily's like the ones in my bouquet.

Thank so much George for always being there to make my day whether it's to purchase flowers or just make me smile. I love you so much.

Saturday

It was such a nice day outside we decided to take the dogs out for a little while and let them play their favorite game. We all know how OCD Tator is about the game, however this year Cuddles seemed to like almost just as much as Tator. We just hope that she continues to love the game so that she won't go into her old bad habit of chasing Tator and pulling his ears or biting his feet. The best part about playing this game is it makes them very tired and so they sleep.



Oops Cuddles got distracted and lost her ball and so George had to go and show where her ball landed for her. She doesn't listen for when it drops she watches and so if she get distracted at all she looses the ball.

Both of them being very patient for George to throw the balls!

Tator got his ball and headed back for it to be thrown again, the funny thing is that he puts it in your hand and makes sure it's in your hand and then off he is before you can even throw it. He is really fast and loves every minute of it.

Cuddles is bringing back her ball ready for some more as well.

This is what happens after it all!

We were watching this movie and boy is it a great movie (and not just because Jim Carrey is in it). I think that the world needs to take more chances. It seems like we are always saying NO, so take a chance and say YES once in a while. You never know you may have something good come from just one simple word.
